Una nota profumeria artigianale ha deciso di ampliarsi aprendo un nuovo punto vendita nella storica città di Vicenza.
Lo spazio scelto è di grande valenza storica in quanto era l’antico ingresso delle terme romane della città. Le due antichissime colonne in marmo bianco sono state enfatizzate con l’apposizione di un drappo in velluto nero che fa da quinta teatrale e divide lo spazio di vendita da quello più tecnico e privato.
Il progetto ha previsto il restauro dell’intero spazio attraverso la pulizia e, dove necessario, il ripristino delle antiche finiture. Le colonne sono state restaurate mantenendo la patina del tempo, così come le travi in legno del solaio, trattate con un olio naturale. Alle pareti è stata ripristinata l’antica finitura a calce mescolata alla polvere di pietra di Vicenza. Il pavimento è quello originale, in marmo rosa.
I profumi sono esposti sul piano illuminato di mensole in acciaio grezzo brunito, così da far risaltare i colori naturali delle loro particolari boccette.
La cassa e gli espositori principali, anch’essi in acciaio brunito, presentano forme morbide e curve per accogliere i clienti nei momenti di maggior afflusso.
A well-known artisan perfumery has decided to open a new store in the historical city of Vicenza.
The space has a great historical value as it was the ancient entrance to the Roman baths of the city. The two ancient columns in white marble, which marked the entrance to the thermal areas, have been emphasized with the application of a black velvet drape that acts as a theatrical backdrop and divides the sales space from the more technical and private one.
The project involved the restoration of the entire space through, where necessary, the restoration of the ancient finishes. The columns have been restored maintaining the patina of time, as well as the wooden beams of the attic, treated with a natural oil. The ancient lime finish mixed with Vicenza stone dust has been restored to the walls. The floor is the original one, made of pink marble.
The perfumes are displayed on the illuminated surface of shelves in raw burnished steel, to bring out the natural colors of their particular bottles.
The case and the main displays, also in burnished steel, have soft and curved shapes to welcome customers in the moments of greatest turnout.
