Una zona residenziale di metà del secolo scorso, progettata con criteri urbanistici lungimiranti ed orientati al benessere dei cittadini, è il quartiere alle porte della città che una giovane coppia ha scelto per la loro nuova abitazione.
Il progetto di ristrutturazione dell’originale abitazione, prevede un riuso semplice e libero degli spazi esistenti. Sono stati mantenuti ambienti molto ampi e luminosi nella zona giorno, facilmente adattabili a varie esigenze, che i proprietari usano in maniera trasversale per le loro passioni e per ospitare amici. Questo aspetto garantisce una fruibilità semplice ed efficiente dello spazio, a partire dalla cucina bene organizzata e comoda alla zona pranzo. Qui spicca il grande tavolo in rovere massiccio, completato dalle storiche sedie B9 di Thonet, le preferite da Le Corbusier, e illuminato dalle due lampade di Castiglioni per Flos.
Il pavimento e le scale sono stati realizzati in calcestruzzo lisciato per uniformare le superfici coinvolte nel progetto, enfatizzando arredo ed opere d’arte esposte.
A residential area from the middle of the last century, designed with farsighted urban criteria and oriented towards the well-being of citizens, is the neighborhood on the outskirts of the city that a young couple has chosen for their new home.
The renovation of the original house is characterized by a simple and free reuse of the existing space. The living room maintained its peculiarity of a large and bright space, easily adaptable to various needs and used by the owners both for their passions and to host friends. This aspect guarantees simple and efficient usability of the space, starting from the well-organized kitchen placed close to the dining area. In this space, the large solid oak table and the original B9 chairs by Thonet - Le Corbusier's favorite - stand out and are illuminated by the two Castiglioni lamps for Flos.
The floor and stairs were made of concrete to uniform the surfaces involved in the project, emphasizing the furnishings and the works of art.
